Besides knowing the rules and all the complex things that one must know in order to do the job, he is the most sincere caring person to have sell one's home. When my long time partner asked Michael to handle the sale of his home, he got more that just his home sold. Michael was concerned for the seller's well being and wanted him to be happily settled into the retirement home to which he was moving. Michael visited my partner and actually helped him move items to his new place. Once he was moved, Michael arranged furniture, hung pictures and hung out with him to make him feel that he was not alone. Michael took over all the intricate details of the transaction plus got the home emptied and professionally cleaned and had it ready to put on the market in record time. It sold quickly and my partner was completely satisfied with the result. I plan on having Michael sell my condo when the time comes and have already recommended him to a friend who is moving out of state for the sale of their home. "My wife and I have known Michael and his wife Stacy for several years as friends. Over that time period, we grew to appreciate Michael’s integrity as a real estate agent. It was clear he put his client's interests first and was not just interested in making a sale. When it came time for us to consider moving we selected Michael to represent us in both the sale of our existing home and the purchase of our new home in Bothell. This was a lengthy process, lasting several months, but Michael stood by us all the way and helped us make informed sound decisions during the process. Buying or selling homes can be very stressful. We are glad we had Michael there to help us navigate through the turbulent waters we encountered through the selling and buying process. Perhaps what I appreciated most is that Michael didn’t pressure us to make offers or make decisions just so the deal(s) would close. Several times he pointed out potential issues (e.g. structural, lot limitations, etc.) with homes we were interested in or raised concerns over homes that didn’t quite meet all of our criteria. Again we wanted to make sure we purchased the “right” home, not just “a” home. We appreciated Michael’s use of technology in the buying and selling process which made everything go much smoother and more efficiently. He created customized MLS filters and sent us MLS listings that met our specific criteria. He utilized an E-signature tool that helped us process the paperwork or forms much more effectively. He put together a 3D Virtual Tour of our home that really made our house stand out and “pop” when it entered the market. Michael also did a great job of running interference for us and was in frequent contact with other real estate agents, banks, escrow agents, contractors, etc. to make sure any issues or concerns we had were addressed and that we stayed on track to meet our closing dates. He did a good job of keeping us informed along the way. The world of real estate can be very frustrating and stressful. There is a lot of decision-making, planning, and hard work involved when buying or selling houses! Michael’s professional knowledge, demeanor, and style helped to calm us down every time we were feeling overwhelmed by either the buying or selling process. That enabled us to keep on track and stay focused on all the things we needed to do to prepare our previous house for sale and for buying our new home.
